This place is surrounded by lots & lots of trees. It's a perfect place to unwind yourself from the busy schedule and just relax with your family and friends. They have all stuff for indoor & outdoor games which keeps elders and kids busy. Rooms are large to accomodate 4-5 people. Rooms are clean. Service is good. You don't need AC in rooms.
Food - the most important thing. It's highly recommended. Delicious, tasy homemade food makes your stay a memorable one.
Radha cottage is approx 25 mins walking distance from matheran station and currently the road is all kaccha with red mud. So incase if you have elderly people may take pulling rickshaw or horse ride. E-auto is available from Aman lodge and only till matheran station. Walking from Aman lodge, or matheran station is fun but tiring. Me , my husband and 11 year son did walking from Aman lodge with all our luggage. We clicked lots of pics on the way. Our legs & stamina gave up as the road is steep but all the tiredness went away when we checked in to the hotel and when delicious food went into our tummy. There is Charlotte lake near to the hotel.
Toy train is available only till matheran station but one needs to be available at ticket counter atleast 45-50 mins before the ticket counter opens.
Staying at Radha Cottage was a fantastic escape from the city chaos. The serene environment provided a satisfying experience, and I particularly enjoyed the delightful taste of their puran poli. We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. Property was very nice. Food was delicious and was having varieties of options everyday which is included in package. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only con is that it is far away(almost 7 km) from matheran Station and almost 2.5km-3km from main market.
It was great stay anytime at Radha Cottage.
Best part is food and all above their signature dish Khandeshi Puran poli.
Although not in the menu on that day still arrange for us separately.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Radha cottage and wanted to share my experience. We had booked the Duplex villa and the Forest view rooms. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, offering a variety of options that catered to different preferences. A special mention of the puranpoli served on day one. One of the best that we had ever tasted. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Additionally the secluded location of the hotel amidst the forest contributed to a unique and peaceful ambience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Radha Cottage to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway.
